Actor Ashton Kutcher arrived in Israel Monday ahead of scheduled meetings with representatives of local start-up companies.
Kutcher is expected to spend his visit time with investment partner Guy Oseary, one of the leading producers in the US music industry and Madonna’s personal manager.
The two are expected to speak Monday night at a “Meet the industry leaders” event hosted by GarageGeeks in Holon.
Oseary, a former Israeli, visits the country quite often and the two are joint investors in the A-Grade venture capital fund. Their investments include Airbnb, Spotify, Path, Soundcloud, Groupon and Shazam.
Kutcher and Oseary will be the guests of Yossi Vardi, one of Israel’s first high-tech entrepreneurs, and a recent inclusion on The Algemeiner’s Jewish 100 list.
The devout Kabbalist is also going to spend part of Shavuot at the Kabbala Center in Tel Aviv, according to a representative of the center.
Kutcher has been to Israel five times. He was last in the country in 2010 with his then-wife Demi Moore.
