NBC – Anthony Weiner has officially submitted a letter of resignation to the New York Department of State. “It has been an honor to serve the people of Queens and Brooklyn,” the disgraced congressman wrote in the two-sentence resignation letter that he submitted Monday.
The letter must be officially read into the record in Congress, which is expected to happen on Tuesday.
