An Israeli beach brawl that involved way too many chairs is drawing attention on the world wide web for its magnitude and depravity.
The fight, which took place on the coast of the Dead Sea, at the Neve Midbar resort, was picked up by sports blog Deadspin as the lead video of its ‘Tuesday Night Fights” series.
Poking fun at the incident, Deadspin created a list of possible reasons for the melee, including, “A bar mitzvah or wedding chair dance gone horribly awry” and “They’re modeling the behavior of the ultra-Orthodox men who throw chairs when women attempt to pray publicly at the Western Wall.”
