Israel Hayom – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Finance Ministry to halt its routine transfer of Palestinian tax revenue to the Palestinian Authority, withholding some 500 million shekels ($127 million) in response to Ramallah’s decision to apply for International Criminal Court membership.
Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu accused the Palestinians of “opting for a confrontation with the state of Israel” and declared that “we will not sit idly by. We will not allow them to drag IDF soldiers and commanders to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.”
