i24 News – Officials from Israel and Qatar met on Wednesday to discuss the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Israeli news site Ynet, quoting a Palestinian source, reported on Friday.
According to the source the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Major General Yoav “Poly” Mordechai, held a meeting with Mohammed al-Amadi, head of the Qatari Committee to Rebuild Gaza, who arrived in Gaza on Monday. An agreement was reportedly reached to accelerate the delivery of construction materials for rebuilding Gaza through Kerem Shalom border crossing.
