A new video published by ISIS this week, of what the terrorist organization calls its “elite fighters unit” shows overweight and excessively slow fighters, leading the video to be mocked by experts.

Far from being a source for concern, the video of ISIS’ Elite Fighters is rather embarrassing to the group according to Andy McNab, a fighter in British Special forces. In an interview with the UK’s Daily Mail McNab said that the video was laughable. “Just seeing how these guys are holding their weapons makes it clear that even when it comes to a regular soldier, there’s no reason to worry.”

The video shows fighters wearing oven-mitts, rappelling down from a roof, one of them even sliding down a wall, head first, only to stop halfway down, and then wave the organization’s flag above the streets.

Aside from that, the video shows that these “Elite Fighters,” have developed a rather clever method to climb over walls and into windows that are high above the ground. This is done by having one of the terrorists hold the front end of a long pole, facing the wall, and then three or four others grab the back end. As they all rush towards the wall, the terrorist on the front end is able to run up the wall.

Other parts of the video meant to show off  the fighters’ strength and prowess show them breaking down unlocked doors, or lying prostrate on the side-walk as another fighter -presumably their commander – walks on their backs.

One of the most comical parts of the video, however, shows a fighter rappelling down from a high bridge, and slipping on the rope after he loses his grip. Luckily for him, he gets stuck, and after a brief struggle, he manages to get off the rope.
