Kabbalah Center Guru Claims Secret Followers in Buckingham Palace

A spiritual mentor at the London branch of the Kabbalah Center claimed that members of Britain’s royal family are secretly following the teachings of Jewish mysticism, the UK’s Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.
“There’s a host of people who sign confidentiality agreements, whether it is royal family members, some celebs, some business people,” said Marcus Weston, a former investment banker who became a Kabbalah teacher.
When asked if the Queen enjoys learning about Kabbalah, he replied, “I could not answer that,” adding, “but she is wonderful.”
The influence of Kabbalah has been growing in London and more than 1,000 students take spiritual classes each week at the city’s branch of the center, the Daily Mail reported. Weston said when he first got interested in the group, he would often be the only one in his Kabbalah class.
Now, to keep up with the growing interest, the Westminster Council last year approved expansion plans for the Kabbalah Center to double in size.
Nurses, teachers and youth workers attend the classes along with CEOs, celebrities and entrepreneurs, according to the report. Prominent celebrities who are known to be Kabbalah adherents include Madonna, Britney Spears, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Charlize Theron and Kylie Minogue. It was reported last year that One Direction’s Harry Styles was one of the most recent celebrities to take on Kabbalah.
