Israelis Big on New York City Property; Ranked Fourth Among Investors Worldwide

Israelis came in fourth place among New York’s biggest real estate investors over the last decade, the New York Post reported on Wednesday.
Jewish state denizens invested $5.26 billion in 59 New York City properties since 2005, according to Real Capital Analytics. The Big Apple’s third largest real estate investor during the same time period was China. Second place went to the United Arab Emirates. The top spot was held by the Canadians.
Over the 10 year period, Canadians invested $15.37 billion into New York commercial property, nearly double the $8.8 billion that United Arab Emirates citizens invested over the same period. The total spent by Canadians on New York real estate also soared from $1.97 billion in 2014 to a record $3.85 billion so far this year, according to the report.
