The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) revealed the existence of another massive underground missile warehouse, pro-regime Tasnim News Agency reported on Tuesday.
Among the military materiel in this facility is Iran’s recently developed Emad long-range ballistic missile, loaded onto launching vehicles and stored in an underground tunnel.
The exposure of this warehouse comes three months after the IRGC’s Aerospace Force broadcast footage of a similar underground facility, stocked with an array of ballistic missiles. In October, IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier-General Amir Ali Hajizadeh claimed it was one of many such warehouses scattered across the country. IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier-General Hossein Salami commented at the time that it was the IRGC’s “oldest” stockpile.
