The Iranian navy threatened to release the full video of the capture of American sailors last month, the Lebanon-based pan-Arab Al-Mayadeen News reported on Monday.
Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, stressed that though Iran had no desire to humiliate another country or people, if the United States continued to “insult Iran or deal with it in an underhanded manner,” hours of embarrassing footage of the incident would be released.
According to the report, Fadavi said this would increase America’s embarrassment over the incident “a hundredfold.”
