Sarah Silverman and Rabbi Sister Agree the Comedian Is the ‘Least Funny’ in the Family (VIDEO)
by Shiryn Ghermezian
Sarah Silverman and her sister, Reform Rabbi Susan Silverman, agreed on Thursday morning during an appearance on The View that the famed comedian is the least funniest member of their family.
“At home, Sarah is basically, in terms of comedy, just one of the crowd,” Rabbi Susan started off saying, to which Sarah added, “I’m the least funny.” Susan concurred, saying, “Probably, I didn’t want to say it.”
During the duo’s appearance on The View, co-host Paula Faris introduced a clip from 1994, in which Sarah jokes about Susan’s wedding during a skit on Saturday Night Live. Susan later said she “loves it” when her sister uses her as material for jokes. The sisters also talked about Susan’s new book, Casting Lots, which is about the rabbi’s experience raising three biological daughters and two sons she adopted from Ethiopian orphanages.
Sarah and Susan also have two other sisters Jodyne and Laura.
