Jewish ‘Entourage’ Actor Jeremy Piven Stars in Profanity-Laced Series of Video Ads for Israeli Gift-Card Company

American-Jewish actor Jeremy Piven, famous for his role on the hit HBO series “Entourage,” is the star of a new profanity-laced comedic series of video ads for an Israeli gift-card company.
In the clips, promoting the company BuyMe, Piven — who played iconic Hollywood agent Ari Gold on the TV show — launches curse-filled tirades about unwelcome gifts he receives. One shows him receiving a fish-shaped platter for Rosh Hashanah and feigning appreciation, before saying to the camera, “What is this bulls***? It’s so useless that I can’t even re-gift it, because I don’t hate anyone enough to give it to.”
Piven, 51, continues:
I would rather be scraped with a rusty menorah, be raped by a gaggle of apes, be shanked in prison — then own this piece of s***. I would rather have 116 dead fishes shoved up my a** then — but they don’t know that’s how I feel because I’m an actor. Your friends and family, however, are not. So don’t make them act.
Another one of the clips promoting BuyMe shows Piven holding yet another unwelcome gift. “They say it’s not the gift, but it’s the thought that counts,” he says. “But what the f*** were you thinking?” Then, holding a box of silverware, he says, “You shouldn’t have. No seriously, you shouldn’t have.”
