A Major League Baseball player visiting Israel for his birthday was caught on camera with mud on his face at the Dead Sea, reading the Jerusalem Post.
Miami Marlins right-fielder Giancarlo Stanton, who turns 27 on Tuesday, posted the photo on Instagram. Playing on the famous words of the late boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, he added the pithy caption, “Float like a butterfly, sting like this salty ass water in my eyes #thatstoomuchsalt! #Bdaytrip.” Stanton, who is not Jewish, also added a touch of Hebrew. “Enjoy everything that life has to offer,” he said.
