Abba Nibi – In recognition of International Women’s Day (March 8th), AbbaNibi wanted to take a moment to rate the 10 Jewish Women in Jewish Culture and Entertainment who stand out for their achievement and ties to our community. Most Jews know the truth: that Jewish women are the central power of our People. But every now and then, it’s good to make a list, just as a reminder.
10. Ilana Shoshan – Diamant – Film Producer
Ilana Shoshan was crowned Miss Israel in 1980 , but later in her career she moved to Los Angeles and became a producer. Ilana is known in the Israeli and Jewish community in LA for supporting the Economic Empowerment for Women in Israel organization and is co-founder of the Women’s Empowerment Foundation in Los Angeles.
