In town for the 72nd UN General Assembly session, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu and his wife Sara hit the streets of Manhattan on Monday to meet the locals.
Netanyahu’s foot excursion came the same day he met with US President Donald Trump. He also sat down with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela, among others.
On Tuesday, the Israeli prime minister was set to address the annual UN gathering and he was expected to devote much of his speech to Iran-related issues.
