IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz generally has a lot on his plate, but over the next week you can add Matzoh to that list. The man in charge of running Israel’s Defense Forces released a video, wishing all those celebrating Passover around the world a happy holiday.
Gantz spent a significant amount of his time addressing the readiness of his forces to protect Israel, noting that the recent surge in violence near the country’s southern border serves as a “reminder” of the threats that the Jewish state faces.
“Just like everyday, on this holiday as well IDF soldiers of the various units will be at Israel’s borders. At patrols and posts, on flights and on vessels – prepared for any incident,” Gantz stated.
