Three Inbal Dror wedding dress sketches sent to Meghan Markle for her to consider to wear at her upcoming nuptials with British Prince Harry were revealed on Monday by TMZ.
A spokesperson confirmed to People magazine that, at the request of the royal family, sketches were provided to the bride-to-be. Though the label said details of the designs were “a secret,” the sketches were obtained by TMZ and show that all three looks have long sleeves, intricate details and high collars.
Many celebrities have worn Dror’s designs, including Beyonce at the 2016 Grammy Awards and during her Formation World Tour. Vogue described the designer’s fall 2017 collection by saying: “Dror is not known for dressing blushingly demure brides.” Prices for her gowns range from $8,000 to $10,000 depending on the design, according to People.
Dror studied at Shenkar Fashion Academy in Israel and then worked for four years with fashion designer Roberto Cavalli in Milan. She opened her bridal label in Israel in 2010 and runs her studio from Ashdod, while her flagship store is in Tel Aviv. She said in January 2016 that she has been designing her whole life, but began making bridal dresses after creating a friend’s gown for her wedding day.
Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding is set to take place on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
