The biggest challenge facing Americans when it comes to following events taking place in the Middle East is getting the right information, the editor-in-chief of The Algemeiner said in an television interview this week following Monday’s violence on the Israel-Gaza Strip border.
“It is hard to see the truth through the fog of disinformation that had descended over this issue and has been championed by many of the major media outlets that we should be able to trust,” Dovid Efune pointed out in a call-in discussion with JBS host Mark Golub.
“I encourage individuals…to do what you can, before arriving to a conclusion, take time in the day, you would not arrive at a conclusion about anything else so consequential without researching it, without spending time on it, take the time, see what the Israelis are saying, see what the IDF is saying…come to an understanding of what’s really going on before passing an opinion on this,” Efune added.
