A British Jewish television presenter — who has recently been vocal about Jew hatred within the UK’s Labour party — told anti-Zionist former MP George Galloway to “f**k off” on Wednesday after he attacked her online for criticizing the party over the antisemitism scandals it has been plagued by in recent years.

Rachel Riley, a co-host of the British gameshow “Countdown,” added on Twitter, “Today is not the day I’m going to be polite to antisemite scum — to be explicit George Galloway.”

Their feud began when Galloway tweeted that he was “dumbfounded” by Riley’s views on Labour and her description of academic Noam Chomsky as an antisemite.

Galloway was one of many online commenters to go after Riley for drawing attention to Labour’s antisemitism problem. On Tuesday, a Twitter user by the name of “Dickyboy” blasted Riley, saying “I’m a Jew, and I am ashamed at Rachel Riley, a woman who clearly has an agenda.” When a fellow Twitter user questioned his Jewish background, “Dickyboy” confirmed that he was in fact not Jewish. Riley then ridiculed him for faking his Jewish heritage.

She sarcastically berated him, saying, “Pro tip! When trolling anyone speaking out about Antisemitism, make up Jewish heritage! No one will dare question your immense Jewy wisdom. It’s happening more and more. Ps Dick, you are the dictionary definition of an aptronym.”

The abuse Riley has faced on Twitter began when she started speaking out against Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in September. The Oxford University graduate explained her determination not to stay silent, despite the verbal invective, saying she was “angry & determined to fight them.”

Riley tweeted last month, “The tactics the far-left bullies are using now, have been used time and time again against those speaking out against Antisemitism in the @UKLabour party. My aim in this, is to expose them as the vile racists that they are for all to see. And they are playing right into my hands.”

“Since speaking out again against antisemitism, the harassment, abuse and character assassination continues,” she noted in a separate tweet. She later added, “Defending this view is not a hill I will choose to die on. The man in question is most likely an antisemite, as he has frequently shared a platform with Holocaust Deniers and Convicted Terrorists. No wait… that’s @jeremycorbyn.”

On Monday, Riley’s “Countdown” co-host Nick Hewer, a life-long Labour Party voter, said he would no longer back the party in protest of the abuse Riley was receiving.
