Politico – Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod predicted on Monday that excitement for Paul Ryan will burn out much the way it did for Sarah Palin in 2008.
Mitt Romney and Ryan were greeted by huge crowds at events over the weekend.
“I saw that kind of excitement four years ago when John McCain apppointed Sarah Palin…as well,” Axelrod said on “CBS This Morning.” But, he added, “I think when the reality catches up with the moment, it’s not going to be a plus for Gov. Romney.”
