An Arab man attacked a 27 year old Israeli with an axe a short while ago near the “Luban Khan”, in the Benyamin region of the West Bank. Emergency personel provided immediate medical treatment and evacuated him. The victim suffered from light and moderate wounds on his upper body.
A suspect has been arrested by Israeli authorities, however, when the IDF and other security forces began to search for the perpetrator they were attacked by Arab stone throwers.
The attack occurred as a group of Israelis were photographing Arab construction in Luban-A-Sharkiyah – which is illegal under Israeli law – with the intent of submitting a complaint against the construction to Israeli authorities.
