Times of Israel – Support for President Barack Obama among Jews in the state of Florida is down 7 percent on 2008, according to an American Jewish Committee (AJC) poll released Thursday.
A total of 69% of Florida Jews said they would vote for Obama in November’s presidential elections, down from 76% in 2008, the AJC noted.
A 7% drop in the Jewish vote likely represents over 50,000 votes in a state that the Republicans won in 2000 by fewer than 600 votes.
