Anson Laynter

Rabbi Anson Laytner is the immediate past president of the Sino-Judaic Institute and long-time editor of its journal, Points East. SJI is a US-based international non-profit organization that, since 1985, has worked to assist the Kaifeng Jewish descendants reconnect with their Jewish heritage, promote the study of historic Jewish communities in China, and support the growth of Jewish and Israel Studies programs in China.
