Gabriel was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, before moving to the UK to study law. Recent research areas include a comparative analysis of liberal democracies' legal responses to terrorism in the last decade, a reconsideration of the constitutional basis of the SCOTUS' decision in Doe v Bolton, and a short paper on the legal implications of living in a computer-simulated reality. He enjoys long limps on the beach, single malts, and aggravating authority figures.
