Monica Lowenberg, a published historian and second generation survivor, is London correspondent at DefendingHistory.com and one of their senior analysts. After a visit to Riga, Latvia in 2011 to establish the fate of her Latvian Jewish family, Monica created the international petition against the glorification of Latvian Waffen SS veterans that occurs each and every year in the EU capital on the 16 March.
