The Telegraph – “Four by two,” is traditional Cockney rhyming slang for “Jew”. It’s a pejorative and often preceded by an expletive. The “two” homophone was the subject of feverish debate earlier this week amid allegations that Aaron Porter, the NUS president, was the victim of anti-Semitic chanting at a tuition fees protest in Manchester.
The row circled around a far-Left mob that surrounded Mr Porter, chanting: “Aaron Porter’s a Tory too”. It was reported that at some point this morphed into: “Aaron Porter’s a Tory Jew.”
