CBC – Forces loyal to Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi are steadily advancing on rebels trying to oust him, winning back territory rebel forces seized earlier, Libya TV reported Sunday.
The oil town of Brega in eastern Libya “has been cleansed of armed gangs,” a military source was quoted as saying.
The report could not be immediately verified. Libyan TV has issued faulty reports claiming terrority in the past.
