JPost – A Munich court has denied Spain’s request to extradite John Demjanjuk, a former guard at the Sobibor death camp in then-occupied Poland, to stand trial in Madrid, the Associated Press reported Thursday.
Demjanjuk was indicted in January by Spain on charges of accessory to genocide and crimes against humanity related to his time in the Flossenbuerg concentration camp in southern Germany, where 155 Spaniards were held and 60 were killed.
