There were not too many moments in Thursday nights debate where the candidates agreed with one another, but cohesion did come when a ‘Palestinian-American’ asked how peace can be achieved if ‘Palestinians’ are not recognized by many people.
Mitt Romney wasted no time, claiming it was the Palestinian side that is not interested in peace, while Newt Gingrich re-iterated a statement he’s made many times in the past – the Palestinians are an “invented people”
