The Harvard educated and current NBA golden boy, Jeremy Lin, seemingly can do no wrong these days. Since he entered the starting lineup for the New York Knicks, the team is 6-0. Lin has amassed at least 20 points and 7 assists during the remarkable winning streak, catching the attention of basketball fans worldwide.
In a discovery by Deadspin recently, Lin had some fun in May of 2004, imitating different NBA players and how they wear their headbands. Referring to Josh Howard, currently of the Utah Jazz, Lin put the headband on top of his head and wrote:
“there’s josh howard on the dallas mavs. he wears his headband Jewish style…very very loosely”
Ben Smith of Buzzfeed notes that when the Anti-Defamation League was contacted about this story, asking if they had a problem with Lin’s joke, the ADL replied “Not in the least”.
