Born in Wisconsin, Jackie Mason grew up in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, becoming one of America’s most beloved stand up comedians and a favorite son of the Jewish community.
Recently, Mason addressed a fundraiser for the Gush Katif museum in a video message. You can watch the video below.
The museum tells the story of Jews living in Gush Katif, land inside the Gaza Strip which was given away as part of the 2005 “disengagement plan”. The plan withdrew Jewish communities from Gaza, paving the way for Hamas’s current rule of the Strip and the rockets that fly into Israel from the strip.
