When Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied showed up at the Oscars wearing wedding bands, speculation mounted that the two had already gotten married.
“They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds”, said Julie Wolf, referring to the wedding bands she designed for Portman and Millepied, which were worn by the couple last Sunday night.
The couple met during the production of “Black Swan”, which Portman – who is a dual American and Israeli citizen – starred in and in June of 2011, they had their first child, named Aleph.
Wolf, who is a friend of Millepied’s, also designed Portman’s engagement ring.
“Ben was exceptionally thoughtful and dedicated and patient to make sure we had everything right,” she said in 2011 after the ring was scene in public.
