Washington Post – On the heels of his campaign’s unofficial launching of his bid for a second term, President Obama is out on the trail Friday, holding a series of fundraisers in Atlanta and his political home base of Chicago.
Early this afternoon, Obama will address supporters at the Palmer House Hilton, a few blocks from his campaign’s national headquarters just north of Millennium Park.
The event is Obama’s first in a quintet of Friday fundraisers — the most the president has held in a single day, according to Mark Knoller of CBS News.
