For the second year in a row, Time Magazine named Benjamin Netanyahu to its list of the The 100 Most Influential People.
U.S. representative Eric Cantor, who wrote the biography on Netanyahu for the magazine’s list, said the Israeli Prime Minister deserves to be on the list for his “accomplishments and service as a soldier, a diplomat, an economic reformer who took on the difficult and politically perilous task of challenging the status quo”.
Described as an “iconic Israeli” by Cantor, the Congressman praised Netanyahu for raising awareness to the threat that a nuclear Iran poses to international stability.
“Confronting Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and sponsorship of terrorism is an urgent task for all of us. At this perilous moment, Prime Minister Netanyahu is the right leader for Israel – and the right partner for America,” Cantor wrote.
