Earlier today, Israel Defense Force personnel conducting routine operations near the security fence along the Gaza border came under fire.
The IDF spokesperson’s unit reported that two armored vehicles were damaged and that “IAF aircraft and Armored Corps soldiers responded with fire towards suspicious locations.”
An IDF statement added that “the IDF will take any actions necessary to defend the State of Israel. The Hamas terror organization is solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.”
