President Barack Obama would allow Iran to have 5 percent-enriched uranium if the Islamic Republic takes “other steps” to curb its nuclear efforts, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.
According to the report, “other steps” include a United Nations inspection. Israel National News reported that Iran is already producing 20 percent-enriched uranium. Ninety-percent enrichment is needed to create sufficient fuel for a nuclear bomb.
