Ashton Kutcher has taken on a new role, that of Karl Lagerfeld, the famous fashion designer known for his creations at Chanel, Fendi, and Chloe.
In a newly released video, which is an ad for PopChips, a company Kutcher has invested in, the actor pretends to be Lagerfeld in an attempt to find a mate online. Wearing Lagerfeld’s patented fingerless gloves and black sunglasses, “Darl” (Kutcher’s portrayal of Karl) brings his dog “Poo-Poo” into the video, who he claims “only eats kosher”.
“She only eats kosher. Yes, no meat, no milk, no pig, no tref, no mussels – this drives him crazy – because he loves lobster but he can’t have it.”
In actuality, Lagerfeld has a cat named Choupette and while Kutcher’s portrayal of the designer seems to be French, Lagerfeld is of German descent.
