Vice President Biden Crosses Himself at Rabbi Summit, Causes Laughter (VIDEO)

Vice President Joe Biden provided some laughter during his Tuesday appearance at the Rabbinical Assembly in Atlanta, by crossing himself as he was being introduced.
“Were Joe Biden not the Vice President of the United States, but still a senator from the state of Delaware, a position that he held with great distinction for 36 years, it would still be a signal…”, said the rabbi introducing Biden. The Vice President, standing behind the rabbi, crossed himself and looked upwards, noting afterwards that “36 years is a long time”.
This caused the crowd to erupt in laughter as Biden was getting ready to speak.
“I’ll try that again. Were he still a senator from the state of Delaware for a long time…”, the rabbi said, during his introduction.
As The Algemeiner reported on Tuesday, Biden spoke about President Obama’s commitment to the state of Israel and the threat to global stability that a nuclear Iran would pose. Biden also remarked that he is more worried about Israel right now, than at any other time in his political career.
