Your Jewish News – Israel is more popular than ever as a tourist destination. The country drew 354,000 visitors in April, an increase of 19 percent from the same month last year, the Tourism Ministry announced on Thursday.
The Central Bureau of Statistics reported that over a million visitors arrived in the first quarter of 2012, an increase of 6 percent over 2011 and 4 percent over 2010, when tourism to the country spiraled to an all-time high.
