British comedian John Cleese has signed on to act in Israeli writer-director Reshef Levy’s next film, “Hunting Elephants,” alongside Israeli actors.
Cleese, who is known for starring in “Monty Python,” will play a British lord “who gets mixed up with a group of Israeli misfits who hatch a plan to rob a bank to get the money they need to save their family home,” reported Haaretz. The group decides to rob the bank after a 12-year-old boy loses his father at an accident at the bank, with the bank refusing to take responsibility.
