In a video released yesterday, Palestinian Media Watch reported on a segment of national Palestinian TV in which a young girl dressed her doll in shrouds and presented it as martyred by the Israel Defense Forces. “The occupation army killed her when she was young, and because of that she couldn’t grow up” the girl said about her doll.
The TV segment was covering Children’s Day in Ramallah, in which dozens of children, some no older than five years old, expressed support for Palestine by chanting “freedom”, “defense” and “Palestine”.
PMW is a non-profit Israeli research institute that focuses on “monitoring and analyzing the Palestinian Authority through its media.” Its material has been presented in Congress and various European Parliaments.
