Roseanne Barr took to Twitter this week to announce that she’s a “fat old Jew”. The former television star posted a photo of herself on the social media site, with the words “fat old Jew” next to the picture.
Barr was born into a Jewish family in Salt Lake City, Utah, and starred in “The Roseanne Show” from 1988-1997, earning her both an Emmy and Golden Globe award.
