JPost – Former Foreign Ministry legal advisor Alan Baker has defended a government initiated report he co-authored calling for the authorization of West Bank outposts, in a letter he wrote last week to the Israel Policy Forum.
Earlier this month the Forum, which is based in New York, sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, urging him to reject the report on West Bank outposts penned by a three-member legal panel led by former Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levy and dubbed the “Levy report.” The other two panel members were Baker and former deputy president of the Tel Aviv District Court Tehiya Shapira.
