Politico – President Obama’s campaign whacked Mitt Romney for his European blunders while dodging questions about whether they agree with what the GOP challenger actually said.
“Clearly the Obama administration’s policy has been to improve the conditions in the West Bank in particular and build those institutions that will be required for statehood,” foreign policy adviser Colin Kahl said. “The president really hasn’t weighed in on the balance of causes of the Palestinians’ plight, other than to say the Palestinians have a desire for an independent state.”
