Zuckerberg’s Sister Learns She’s a Google Employee While in Israel

During her stay in Israel this week, Mark Zuckerberg’s sister Arielle learned she would be working for one of the world’s largest technology companies, Google.
“Not gonna lie… This feels pretty awkward,” she wrote on Facebook.
Zuckerberg, who chose not to enter into her brother’s social media business, and instead went to work for Wildfire, which was just recently acquired by Google for $250 million, is in Israeli on Birthright. During her visit, she met with Israeli President Shimon Peres, who is himself active on Facebook and visited the company’s offices earlier this year while in the United States.
“I greatly respect the Zuckerberg family not only for their creativity but also for the strong tradition which is firmly in their hearts,” he said on Facebook. “I am proud of Arielle, all her friends who have come with her to Israel and all the participants who take part in Taglit-Birthright.”
