Issac Kadare, a father of four, was found dead inside his Brooklyn shop on Thursday night, and the New York Post reports that police are investigating the incident as a possible homicide.
The 59 year old man was found with severe head trauma, on the floor by two customers, around 8:45 p.m.
“His family is always there,” Margaret Roman , who lives in the same building where Kadare’s store is located, said. “His kids are always there. His wife is always there. They weren’t there tonight.”
According to neighbors, Kadare moved to the United States from Israel.
“I don’t even know what to say. He loved his family, his four kids,” Kadare’s wife said.
“He was a really hard-working man, I don’t get it. A person is alive one day, and the next they are not.”
