Ynet – Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi played the role of a hero in an unlikely place when he saved the life of a fellow Israeli tourist while on vacation in Spain.
Tayibe resident Fadi Masrawa, 28, who was visiting Barcelona last week, broke his neck after unwittingly jumping headfirst into a shallow area on the beach. MK Tibi, who was coincidentally vacationing in the Catalan city at the same time, rushed to Masrawa’s bedside after being alerted by the family of the tourist, who failed to buy health insurance prior to the trip.
