Israel’s annual intelligence report will be submitted today in a cabinet meeting to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with Iran atop the agenda.
Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, head of the Israel Defense Forces Military Intelligence, will present the annual intelligence review” to Netanyahu and the security cabinet. Kochavi said last week that the Middle East will be “more tense and Islamist in nature than before” over the next 12 months, when he presented the intelligence report to the IDF’s Chief of Staff.
“The work is led by the research unit and utilizes all of the existing intelligence-gathering bodies in the intelligence branch, as well as ones created in the passing year,” Kochavi said.
