A 17 year old Arab youth stabbed an Israeli bus driver Wednesday evening leaving him bloodied and sustaining light wounds.
According to Israel National News, the attacker who attempted to flee the scene, was apprehended, arrested and searched to ensure that he was not carrying any explosive charges on his body.
Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot reported that, “Magen David Adom emergency services were called to the scene and treated the man, whose neck was cut, on the site.”
Stabbing attempts by Arabs against Israelis are a relatively common occurrence in Israel. Throughout the last few weeks, The Algemeiner documented at least four such attempts.
