After the recent escalation of Hamas rocket attacks into southern Israel, and Israel’s targeting of Gaza terror infrastructure, the Israeli Air Force began dropping two separate leaflets into Gaza, the first urging residents there to assist in the effort to halt rocket attacks, the second warning them to stay 300 meters out of range of the border fence. According to an article on the Hebrew-language website for Maariv, the leaflets were posted by residents of the Gaza Strip on social media sites. The leaflet requesting assistance in the identification of the source of the rocket attacks, provided a phone number and read in part “Rocket launchers and terrorists pose a danger to you (the residents).”
